At Laxey Dental Surgery, we have a particular interest in dental implants. Before setting up the surgery, Colin Partington undertook a multi-system implant certificate course at Trafford General Hospital, Manchester between 1999 and 2000. Following this, he began introducing implant treatment into general dental practice.
In 2007, he embarked on a further two years of part-time study and was awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Dental Implantology at the University of Salford in 2009. Colin continues to attend implant courses regularly and is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology
Dental implants are the preferred way to replace missing teeth. They are self-supported, meaning they put no additional pressure on the other teeth in your mouth. And they are fixed in place, meaning there is no need to take your replacement teeth in and out, ever!
In addition to offering implant treatment to our own patients, Colin also accepts referrals from other dentists on the island.
Dental implants have revolutionised the world of dentistry. We have never been closer to replacing teeth with the real thing than we are today. We use only the highest-quality materials and the most proven techniques to deliver optimal success rates with our treatments.
Please don’t delay this life-changing decision any longer! Contact us here today to discuss with our friendly and helpful team or to book your bespoke consultation.
Single implants can be used to replace 1 or sometimes 2 missing teeth.
Multiple implants with fixed bridgework are used to replace 2 or more teeth. This doesn’t require an implant for every missing tooth, so it is often cheaper than you thought it would be.
Implants can replace all of your upper or lower teeth or both. This treatment can be especially revolutionary to patients’ lives, as we can rehabilitate your mouth in a way you never thought was possible. The treatment is often much more manageable than you first thought, so please book a consultation here or discuss it with our friendly and helpful team to start your journey with us.
Implants can be used not just to replace dentures, but also to stabilise them. By strategically placing a small number of implants, we can stabilise your dentures in ways you never thought possible.
